Monica is our Associate of the corporate law department, with experience in commercial, corporate and financial law. She has worked in law firms in the area of corporate litigation (Sierra & Charrupi legal consultants and Pinilla González & Prieto), in financial institutions (Fiduciaria Central S.A.) being in charge of Corporate Governance issues, such as comprehensive statutory reforms of financial institutions and reforms to the Codes of Ethics and Good Corporate Governance.
Monica also worked at the Bogota Chamber of Commerce in the area of contracts, advising the clusters of the entity to present the contracts of each of the areas of the Chamber to the contracting committee. Subsequently, she got a promotion and worked as Senior Lawyer at the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, acting as Ad-hoc secretary for national arbitration proceedings.
During her Master's studies in Australia she worked at SOLEdu Pty Ltd, an education and migration agency from Korea that helps and assists immigrants in Australia to find their student vocation and advises them in Migration Law to solve residency, income tax and citizenship situations.
