Camilo is a lawyer and economist from Universidad de los Andes, where he served as a teaching assistant for various courses in the Schools of Economics and Law. He was also a member of the Public Administrative Law Research Group. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a research assistant at the School of Law, focusing on institutional design in Colombia. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Applied Economics at Universidad de los Andes.

He has experience advising national and international clients on financial transactions, security structuring, M&A, and economic regulation.

Camilo joined MTA as a Paralegal. Since then, he has strengthened his expertise in environmental law and economics, public procurement, law and economics analysis, competition law, financial law, and corporate law.
